Literally nothing is stopping you from creating a community for men with a rule that only men participate. The difference is that in the community you’re thinking about though, women wouldn’t be constantly trying to mess with it. There are hundreds of communities to choose from. We’re not entitled to participate in them all.

This feels dismissive of feminism, and seems to miss the point by citing a bunch of examples that are anti-feminist. You’re getting caught up in political drama and missing that this is a life philososophy that can underpin how any one person fundamentally treats others and that exists independently of current events. The question is, are you a feminist?
For me, feminism is egalitarianism, plain and simple. Yes, I am a feminist, and an egalitarian.
The city owns and operates AE and has a right to its profits, which go toward funding city services. AE’s rates are in the lower half of rates statewide, and I think you’ll find AE’s general fund transfers pale in comparison to the profits taken by the for-profit electric utilities, which goes to lining the pockets of shareholders and executives. I’m very glad I live in AE’s service area, their service is way better than the for-profit utilities I used around Houston.
