Possibly as a consolation, the French film “Une hirondelle à fait le printemps” (A swallow that made the spring) was called “The Girl From Paris” in English.

It depends a LOT on where you are. In the USA, Canada, and (I think) Mexico, such a thing is not possible, at least in any way that the services you mentioned will care.
It might be possible in places where phone numbers don’t have a fixed length, like (again, I think) Germany.
I think what you’re looking for is called “forced subtitles.” The bad news is, unless they were ripped with the video, they seem to be difficult or impossible to find after the fact. I’m sorry I don’t have anything more useful to say.
It’s a neat idea but it looks like the company doesn’t have the resources to create decent hardware to carry it out
Found Alexander Graham Bell’s account
Just ran across this while endlessly scrolling: https://lemmy.sdf.org/post/15292568
I’m not any kind of expert but I seem to recall that turning air conditioners off and on with a switched outlet is a bad thing… something to do with how they start and stop the compressor.
Also, unless you have no choice, stick with the dual hose models, because the single hose ones end up pushing conditioned air out the window. Even if a single hose model has a theoretically higher efficiency, it won’t translate to the real world because it’s blowing cooled air out the window.
Hacking something to replace the unit’s power button is probably your best option
The site is called medium because it’s rare to find anything well-done.
If you’re in the USA or Canada, schedules direct works very well, or at least it used to. I haven’t messed with it in years.
I have a friend who always downloads the smallest (by file size) copy of any video he can find. He has a 75" 4k TV, 5.1 surround speakers, the whole setup but he downloads 720p in stereo almost exclusively. He says he just doesn’t care about the video or audio quality. It blows my mind, but some people are just weird.
Edit: Also, Paul is just a funny movie, if you’re into goofy movie references.
I use flauncher. It’s ugly and doesn’t have a lot of features but I don’t care. I only have two apps installed, so I’m rarely looking at or using the launcher anyway.
Nvidia Shield Pro with the default launcher disabled & replaced, Plex server. I’m pulling the unused apple TV out of the media setup this week.
Don’t forget the Ray’s Dead spell
The surgeon was surprised I only took ibuprofen, but then he pointed out that since I was already living with chronic pain, maybe the added bit from the surgical recovery wasn’t enough to really notice.
Either way, I wish you an easy and speedy recovery and hope the gall bladder removal fixes what you need fixed.
I had mine out a few years ago, and it was a pretty easy recovery. I don’t remember any diarrhea at all, nor any advice to take stool softeners. Then again, I only took ibuprofen for the pain. I had some hydrocodone prescribed but I never needed it.
I’m using an nvidia shield pro and it handles UHD HDR files with no problems at all.
After ublock origin, this is my favorite extension. Redirecting youtube to freetube is the greatest thing ever
I use it all the time but I’ve never done anything but album shuffle. Next time I’m in the car, I’ll see if I have the same problem.
You can debloat an NVIDIA shield android tv box, replace the default launcher, then install whatever else you want. It’s probably not perfect but it’s pretty darn good. That’s what I use and it can be updated without losing any of my customization.
