Only 899,- and your first born kid. One could think it’s on purpose…
Polymath. Bad in math. Collecting mechanical calculators, likes subtractive manufacturing of wooden implements. Eat the rich. Don’t forget the fiber, danger of constipation. Learn. Get people to learn. By all means. All!

Audiobooks. Sounds strange, but I actually haven’t got 3 or 4 hours to read a book. Even half an hour a day is a stretch. When I was in my 20s i’d lay down with a bucket of graphic novels and books and didn’t stand up, only for snacks and toilet. Can’t do that anymore. When I lay down and begin to read I’m sleeping after 10 minutes. Guess I’m a bit busy in my 40s.

What’s an “ad brake”? Haven’t had ads for years now and beginning to forget…
That’s funny, that’s exactly the method I stored my cdRoms back in the day.
I support his decision, imo some people stopping their channels is an early sign of the whole media transforming in the next 20 or so years, many interesting things will vanish, people with brain will more and more turn away from producing content / consuming content, the other will indulge in stupid stuff, like people today still watching TV & believe in it, it’ll shrink more and more. This is just the beginning, that whole (social) media thing will slowly die, more real experiences will emerge in it’s place again, it’ll all merge into something new, but the process will last at least one generation. Have fun, Tom!
I actually forgot the name, so long ago that I ripped audio cds but now that I read it, I have an acute attack of nostalgia. Awesome program! Thanks for the nostalgia btw.
Restoring and collecting mechanical calculating machines and slide rules. I was abysmal in math at school, but I love those implements.
What do you mean “no other scifi series”? Muad’Dib Muad’Dib Muad’Dib
Could be misunderstood, here’s a comma for you: " , "
Ukulele? Mekulele? Ourkulele!
Morality and ethicality has nothing whatsoever to do with legal or illegal. Legality is a concept obtruded to people by a minority, elected by a miseducated and misled majority. What OP meant was obviously the spirit of sharing as opposed to profit at all costs. And the answer lies in itself, the spirit of sharing includes sharing (hence the name) and not only leeching, that’s what private trackers try to assure the users do.
Oh he is STILL at it? Wow, that’s 5 years? Or more? Gotta give him this: he’s persistent! I watched him at first, even if it’s infuriating at times, but eventually even I lost interest, and I build shit like that myself. No marble machine, but giant mechanical calculators, a pneumatic organ, boats etc But I think that’s what happens when musicians fabricate stuff. I know one who builds his dream guitar for 16 years. Next year he’ll be done. So he says. But then again, so he says for 15 years.

The first thing I learned in Magick: you have to do it all by yourself. It’s not a shortcut, it’s not the easy way. But the reward at the end is worth it. That, and much more. And that’s the truth.
I mean, seriously, who is still watching this streaming stuff? I mean I’ve heard there are still DVD renting stores somewhere… It’ll die eventually and they know it, they just wanna extract as much as possible from the rotting corpse & the worst is: they’ll get it.
Streaming will become like tv eventually, if it isn’t already: only old and/or simple people are interested in it. Almost all people I know don’t watch tv anymore. And let’s be honest: 99.99% of the streaming crap is the same boring assembly line writing that didn’t work in the 90s and doesn’t work now. And to search for the 0.01% - nah, I’ll rather be in my workshop.
