I think I have so many heavy things to process because I’m so committed to trying to be an open-hearted and kind person.

The world (and the selfish few who run it) is so relentlessly cruel at a pace and scale that is impossible to even understand. It’s getting harder not to burn out on empathy for all the people who are suffering.
