Policymakers and the public should understand that the 2017 Trump tax law was skewed to the rich, was expensive and eroded the U.S. revenue base, and failed to deliver promised economic benefits. A 2025 course correction is needed.
We need to stop giving Trump so much credit for shit the GOP is doing with him as a figurehead. Republicans have been giving tax breaks to the wealthy at the expense of the general population for decades, and it isn’t like Trump wrote the legislation.
Yeah, he promoted it, but giving him all the credit makes it seem like it was his idea. No, it was just more of the same from the regressive party.
True, but we always tie tax cuts to the President who signed them, and congress has the option, next year, to make the 2017 tax cuts permanent. If you read TFA, much of their analysis concerns the cumulative effect of Bush and Trump tax cuts, and it’s really just their call to action that specifically addresses the Trump cuts.

What are you talking about, election season is literally about to start lol. Bash the fucking fasc!
Yeah, there are a ton of other Republican fascists that nee to be paid attention to and voted against in addition to Trump.
