I don’t know if this is just a placebo effect, but it feels like there’s a lot more socialization and faster upvotes in the past hour Sync was released.

I’ve been trying to follow, but clearly I missed it - anyone know if there’s an iOS client in the works, or will this be Android only?
Don’t count on an iOS Sync client.
I’d like to know too! Memmy is decent but it does crash fairly often and it has done this odd thing where it duplicates my comments a bunch of times
Memmy version in TestFlight is rapidly improving and the dev is really responsive (replying using it as we speak).
Wefwef is a great alternative in the mean time and I’ve used Mlem a bit but prefer the other two.
Thanks for the info. I’m pretty happy with Memmy actually and I saw some say Sync doesn’t support posting, so I’ll stick with Memmy
I use Voyager (wefwef in an app) in Testflight now. I have used Memmy as well, but like Voyager better. Probably because it has pretty much the look and feel of Apollo I used for Reddit. I am curious how Artemis will be, but that one has no open Beta yet. So plenty of choice for iOs.
Is there a link to the testflight version of Voyager?
EDIT: found it! https://testflight.apple.com/join/nWLw1MBM
EDIT: A number of issues fixed by the test flight build. Some lingering iOS 17 specific issues, but works great!
Great to hear you succeeded and it works great! I’m sorry I didn’t react, but I haven’t been online since yesterday.
Have fun surfing and being part of the Fediverse!
You can try Mlem it is in the App Store.
In the past, it’s been Android only. I saw someone comment in the Discord about LJD looking into converting the code to something iOS could use. No idea if they were being funny or whatever, but nobody seemed to laugh or refute that. So maybe he’s looking into it? I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up though.
Ah, that might have been my comment. I was suggesting it because the newest android framework (jetpack compose) can be made cross platform easily, but others pointed out sync likely has a lot of older code that would need to be ported over.
It could have been you. I have a terrible memory. I just remember seeing someone comment that. I don’t really follow the Discord too much, but was a little more active over the last couple days in hopes to see a release date for the per-registration.
